Peter and the Starcatcher - rendering

Scenic Design by Matthew Hamel

Follow Peter, Molly, and the Lost Boys in this Tony Award winning play by Rick Elice, as they discover a land where they will never grow up. Weathervane Rating: PG-13

 Notes from the Director

“Who is Peter…and who is the Starcatcher? What secrets are held in their story? I am so looking forward to directing this swashbuckling adventure to figure it all out! The process of solving the mystery of Peter (who becomes Pan), and his special friend, Molly, has begun! Is our ‘lost boy’ lost? Or, is he looking at the world with bigger and more insightful eyes than all those around him? Is Molly lost without her Mother? Or, is her Mother now the brightest of stars illuminating every day of Molly’s and ‘Life’s’ darkness? We start with a company of actors on a stage, and with our imaginations believe the journey of our players. From the simplest of props, we make magic. Through the power of language and the manipulation of these props, the stage becomes a ship, a dungeon, the ocean, and an island. It’s a giant theatrical playground. Neverland exists… when we let ourselves see the truth in our dreams.”
