Don’t miss this iconic rock musical as it finally comes to the Playhouse stage! Loosely based on Puccini’s opera La Boheme, it follows a group of impoverished young artists and their struggles to survive in New York City under the looming shadow of HIV/AIDS. Rent opened on Broadway in 1996 and won the Tony award for best musical along with three other Tony awards. With the powerful songs of this world-renowned musical and movie, the power of theatre and art will come to life on the Weathervane stage.
