The Tournament of Summer Magic: 1969 – 1981

This summer, we want to take a look back at Weathervane’s 51 years of “summer magic” and find the most beloved show from our past. All summer long we will be hosting a “tournament bracket” highlighting shows from our past, giving you a chance to vote for your favorites.

OVERVIEW:
Every two weeks we will release a brand new tournament. Four of these tournaments will highlight shows from a particular era at Weathervane. The fifth and final tournament will take the top four voted shows from each previous tournament to find the most beloved show at Weathervane. These will be set up similarly to common 16-team sport brackets, featuring 16 shows and four rounds.

HOW IT WORKS:
Come visit us on Facebook each Monday and Thursday at 4pm for either a new tournament or a new round “event”. In it, you will find the list of shows and an opportunity to vote for your favorite in each match.

THE TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
June 1: 1969 – 1981
June 15: 1982 – 1994
June 29: 1995 – 2007
July 13: 2008 – 2019
July 27: The Final Tournament

HOW TO VOTE:
Visit the current round’s event page. (Hint: Click on DISCUSSION to see the posts where you can vote.) We will have polls posted for each show match-up for you to vote on. This is the FINAL ROUND of the 1969-1981 Tournament. The shows you will be voting on are:

West Side Story (1973)

Look through the event posts beginning at 2PM June 12 to cast your votes. Voting for this round ends at 12:00PM on June 15
