Please note this performance takes place at Weathervane Playhouse in Newark, Ohio.*
Come along with the Land of Legend Barbershop Chorus as they present a trip down memory lane. This year’s show, The Melody Lingers On, will tell the story of Scooter’s, a small town barbershop and meeting place. After years of songs and memories, the future of this local landmark is uncertain. Will one ending be the next beginning?! This year’s show will feature the musical stylings of Gimme Four, a highly celebrated quartet from the Mid-Atlantic District of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Having earned the 2nd Place Silver Medals in 2025 and 2026 at the BHS International Contest, this quartet is sure to entertain the whole family, and leave you wanting more!
The Land of Legend Barbershop Chorus is a proud chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, celebrating 77 years of harmony as part of the Newark, Ohio community. We are grateful to be partnering with Weathervane Playhouse for a second year in a row. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in learning more about barbershop harmony and ways that you can sing for the rest of your life, please contact us at landoflegendchorus@gmail.com.
